Blackpool announce pre-season schedule

Blackpool have belatedly announced their pe-season schedule following Ian Holloways arrival as the Seasiders 22nd post war manager. However yet again for another season it's disappointing news for fans as the itinery lacks any home fixtures for the whilst the pitch is being re-seeded yet will still host the annual Rugby League's National Rail Final.

So with Pool on the road they will travel to Rochdale on July 25th, Carlisle on July 28th and finally Oldham on August 1st. Once again Bleckpool's hard fought Championship status means little pre-season as they fail to attract any Top premiership sides to play against the Seasiders.

Holloway's appointment alerted organisers of the "South West Challenge Cup" who invited Blackpool to a tournament held in North Devon and the club's acceptance means Holloways Championship side have secured a last minute berth in this years competition held between 13th July and 19th replacing Kidderminster Harriers.
