Blackpool V QPR at Bloomfield Road - Match Preview

MacKenzie blow for Seasiders

Blackpool defender Gary MacKenzie has been added to their list of absentees for the visit of high-flying QPR.

The centre-back was due to return from suspension to feature but a hip problem will keep him out for the next two to three weeks meaning he joins Bradley Orr (thigh) in the treatment room.

Kirk Broadfoot is back from his one-game ban, though, and should slot in the middle of the defence while Craig Cathcart has trained fully following a knee injury with the Seasiders optimistic on his return.

However, Paul Ince's men, who have had five dismissals in their last two outings, are once again beset by suspensions. Striker Ricardo Fuller serves the second of a three-match ban and Angel Martinez and Neal Bishop, both dismissed in the 5-1 loss to Derby, also miss out.

Yossi Benayoun could make his QPR debut.

The Israel midfielder has signed a short-term deal with Harry Redknapp's promotion chasers and this week received his work permit.

Nedum Onuoha is fit again after a recurrence of his hamstring injury and played for the reserves in midweek to build up his match sharpness alongside fellow defender Luke Young, who is battling to overcome a hip problem.

Midfielder Alejandro Faurlin (cruciate) and striker Bobby Zamora (knee) are long-term absentees.
