Blackpool V Wigan at Bloomfield Road - Match Preview

Ince missing for Seasiders

Blackpool have no new injury worries but they will be without their manager Paul Ince when they host Wigan in Saturday's lunchtime kick-off.

The Seasiders boss begins a five-game stadium ban for pushing a fourth official and using a series of expletives in a rant after he was sent to the stands during a 2-1 win over Bournemouth.

Although Ince intends to watch the game live on Sky, he will not be allowed inside Bloomfield Road on the day of the match meaning Alex Rae and former manager Steve Thompson will take charge of the half-time team-talk.

They will be without midfielder Barry Ferguson (ankle) for the next month and Bob Harris (shoulder) is also recovering from surgery so loanee Dan Gosling could make his full debut.

Wigan could welcome Marc-Antoine Fortune back for the short trip.

The former West Brom striker sustained a hamstring injury in the defeat to Watford last month but is closing in on a return which would boost boss Owen Coyle's attacking options further given Grant Holt has now fully recovered from a knee problem.

Winger Callum McManaman should return from the illness which forced him to miss out at Blackburn and Latics have no new injury worries, although midfield pair Roger Espinoza and Jean Beausejour made long trips to feature for Honduras and Chile in midweek.

Coyle is still without goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi (shoulder), skipper Gary Caldwell (hip), centre-back Ivan Ramis (knee) and winger Shaun Maloney (back).
