Adam begins a two-match ban after he collected a 10th yellow card of the season against the Foxes.

Midfielder Stephen Husband is set to make his debut for the Seasiders at Hillsborough but striker Brett Ormerod is still suspended and serves the final installment of a three-match ban.

Defender Danny Coid (hamstring) could miss out again but on-loan Leicester striker DJ Campbell comes into contention after being ineligible to face his parent club on Saturday.

After the Seasiders slumped to a 2-1 home defeat against Leicester on Saturday and Barry Bannan, Neal Eardley and Ishmel Demontagnac - who all featured against the Foxes - were spotted in a Blackpool nightspot in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Holloway has accused all three of lacking professionalism and dropped them from the party that will travel to Hillsborough on Tuesday.

Holloway said: "You can't hide a thing in Blackpool and I'm very, very disappointed in them.

"I've dropped them from the squad as I want to send out a message that I won't have that.

"Do they think the time that they got in is acceptable especially when they had training or treatment on Sunday morning? We are professionals and going out in the town after a defeat is not a professional thing to do."
