MATCH PREVIEW
"We have got a long, long way to go to get to that target to stay in this wonderful Premier League," said Blackpool manager Ian Holloway after his side thumped Wigan 4-0 in their first match back in the top flight.
That's all we need - one win. It would give us a huge confidence boost and, I believe, turn our season around
Blackpool manager Ian Holloway
Thirty-one games later, the wisdom of Holloway's words is evident as the Tangerines' Premier League survival hopes hang in the balance.
The good news for Blackpool is that four of their remaining six games are at home; the bad news is that they have done better away from home so far this season - and their two away games are at Tottenham and Manchester United, whom they visit on the final day of the season.
If Blackpool's position is precarious, Wigan's is downright dangerous - the Latics prop up the table, have been scoring less than a goal a game on average, and last won away from home on Boxing Day.
They do have three more points than they did at this stage last season - but the crucial difference is that then they were above the relegation zone but now they are stuck firmly at the bottom of it.
MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
• Wigan have won just one of their last seven matches against Blackpool in all competitions - 2-0 at Bloomfield Road in their last league visit in November 2002.

• Blackpool have conceded 66 league goals this season, more than any other team in the top flight - 15 of those have come in the final 10 minutes of games.
• Charlie Adam has scored nine Premier League goals this season. The last Scotsman to reach double figures in one season was Paul Dickov, who scored 11 goals for Leicester City in 2003/04.

Wigan
• The Latics have only won two of their last 14 league games.
• They have failed to score in four of their last five league matches.
