Blackpool boss Ian Holloway has hit out at the style of football played by Blackburn Rovers following the sides 2-2 draw at Ewood Park on Saturday.
Speaking after his side let a two goal lead slip against Steve Kean's men, the candid manager revealed his side found it hard to cope with the approach which Rovers took.
And the Blackpool boss believes that more teams should ditch the long ball tactic and pass the ball on the floor like many of the top teams.
Holloway said: “When someone puts snow on it, in to your box when they’ve got a land of the giants it’s hard isn’t it.
“At the end of the day if football is going to move forward we have to keep the ball and pass it, we have to because the best in the world do that brilliantly and we’re trying to do that.”
